Video: Manchester United On The Defensive

Video: Manchester United On The Defensive

Manchester United issued a club statement on Friday and in doing so defended their medical team following allegations by their former player, Owen Hargreaves.

I'm sure everyone has heard about the comments made by Owen and his feelings surrounding the treatment he received by the United quacks during his time at Old Trafford.

The following video concentrates on what the dark side had to say.

Here are a few VMC members comments made via our City Chat forum.

PhillyBlueMoon - 'How can he claim the medical staff is 'brilliant' when Hargreaves obviously spent three years getting injections of something that they thought were right, and after surgery he plays 57 minutes for us. It's clearly their fault.'

BamaEngineer - 'Baconface truly believes he is king, and all his subjects should take his word as divinely inspired. What a miserable old sod he is.'

Kennyclementstache - 'Is baconface a doctor? I haven't done any research and yet I feel fairly certain the answer is no.'

'Is baconface a surgeon? Has he ever scrubbed up prior to relocating a wayward cruciate? Again, no research although probably another no.'

'Is baconface a physio? Has he ever donned a hi-viz jacket and handled a stretcher in anger? Again, no research but no nonetheless.'

'Is baconface, or has baconface ever been a hospital administrator/orderly/nurse? Once again, no research but once again fairly certain that the answer is no.'

'So, what does he know about the quality of swamp healthcare?'

'NHS...the H stands for Hargreaves.'
