VMC Forum Man of The Match No.8 versus Everton

He came, got battered, he battled, then conquered. David Silva overcame notorious Everton spoiler tactics to win yet another VMC Man of The Match vote...

Silva's ability to mix it when required is a rare quality in a playmaker and the 25 year old is more than ready to get stuck in. He needed that resilience in spades against Everton's ultimately failed assassins.

Meanwhile, Micah Richards' latest powerful performance came in for plenty of praise from the VMC massive and Mario Balotelli's inspirational cameo bodes well for the near future as City's crucial phase of games intensifies.

The New VMC Man of The Season Format:

This season VMC will be running our Man of The Season contest using a Formula One style points system run by PhillyCitizhun Productions replacing the accumulated polls won result used at the end of the previous four seasons to define our Maine Man.
This way we'll get further accuracy over who is regularly putting in a shift for the City cause.
