VMC Forum Man Of The Match No.10 Vs Blackburn

The brilliantly talented Mario Balotelli's composed and focused performance in the rout of Blackburn made him the VMCers Maine Man in our latest post match forum poll...

SuperMario has been in Manchester for close to 14 months during which time the 21 year old Italian international has quietly accrued 13 City goals in 33 appearances which included 23 starts. Quietly, as his often technically brilliant goals go unnoticed while the hacks focus upon what he'll do next temperament wise. With three goals in three games, with the promise of more, he's a surefire starter for the visit of Aston Villa.

Samir Nasri and Jimmy Milner's excellent input at Ewood sees the pair of them continue to climb The VMC Man of The Season Leader Board.

The New VMC Man of The Season Format:

This season VMC will be running our Man of The Season contest using a Formula One style points system run by PhillyCitizhun Productions replacing the accumulated polls won result used at the end of the previous four seasons to define our Maine Man. This way we'll get further accuracy over who is regularly putting in a shift for the City cause.
