Tevez - the Verdict
The verdict has been written for want-away ex-talisman Carlos Tevez.
He has been served with a 2 week suspension which I understand is deemed to have already been served, plus a fine of four weeks wages.
He has 14 days to enter an appeal.
Tevez has also received a written warning as to his future conduct within the Club that will almost certainly not see him wear the sky-blue shirt again.
Just how far can you fall? From Club super-hero to club super-zero. How he must have hated what happended on Sunday, with City whacking United without him anywhere near the venue. A parachutist with an unopened chute couldn't hit the grass faster than Tevez.
Contrast him with what David Silva had to say today and you see the difference between a well-balanced thoroughly professional footballer and..well..Carlos Tevez.
The Iranian dodgy dealer has a lot to answer for in the life and times of Carlos Tevez and has now assisted wonderfully in reducing Tevez from being a world class player to someone who is on the fringe of Kojak!
So Corinthians want him for £16million? Done! I'm sure he will enjoy £30k per week playing 'close to his family'. There will be no cross subsidy from the Etihad!
The skyblue faithful has just experienced one of the most exhiliarating moments in the history of our wonderful Club and we won't let Tevez spoil that will we?
