One-Sixers To Give Bayern Training Base Support

Manchester united's desperation to stop the City juggernaut has hit a new low with a story knocking around town that they are to take care of Bayern Munich next week...

The word is that in a bitter bid to ensure liddle ciddy exit the Champions League at The Etihad on Wednesday night, the rags will allow the German squad to use their Carrington training ground as their base.

Such an open move by an English club against another English club's aspirations would be unprecedented and unthinkable in many continental countries.

Should this come to pass, it would only serve to underline the fact that for City to win another trophy this year, the squad would have done so through unbelievably fierce opposition, difficult cup draws and subsequent unkind fixture lists, let alone a daily media round of anti-City propaganda.

No surrender. Bring it on.

Desparate and rather pathetic attempt at a wind-up by the rags I reckon - won't actually have any bearing on what happens on the pitch, but it just demonstrates how utterly classless our Stretford neighbours are.

Such an open move by an English club against another English club's aspirations would be unprecedented and unthinkable in many continental countries. - I could've swore VMC was selling Barca shirts when we played them in the final? I could've swore that Arsenal allowed Barca to train at their training ground during the build up to the final. Did we kick up a fuss and write aricles about that? You're really not ones to talk.
TheFamousNo7
If its wind up it certainly worked FCB . But you must be favourites to Beat Bayern at home
nickster
Wow, it only took TheFamousNo7 a month and a half to return after the 6-1 drubbing at the swamp. Has Taggert bought his referee for next week's game against Basel so that you can progress yet?
PhillyBlueMoon
Ah Philly leave Tf7 alone mate. He's spent the past six weeks recovering from a very serious operation. He had to have surgery to have his tail removed from between his legs.
Bluedub
What's that, did someone say SIX weeks?
fifthcolumnblue
Speaking of operations Bluedub when are you due to get your head removed from your arse? Philly mate the lack of counter-argument tells me i'm right, you guys are just being hypocrites.
TheFamousNo7
Come on guys no need to get personal when your club gets criticised . But lets face the fact that City are an ok side thats over achieving this season the bubble will burst fellas.
nickster
LMAO! That's rich coming from someone that told me that City wouldn't make top four last season.
Bluedub
Don't worry about it nickster. Tf7 is just flirting with me, he's just a big tease.
Bluedub
Me and Bluedub flinging insults back and forth is the norm. In all seriousness has anyone got anything to disprove the hypocrisy in this article? Any counter-argument for when you were selling Barca shirts and rooting us to lose, which is surely the equivalent to being classless and bitter? Any explanations as to why Arsenal let Barca use their training ground during the build-up to the Champions League final? Or was it just a wind-up attempt with the hypocrisy being intended to spark a reaction?
TheFamousNo7
Firstly Tf7, comparing what your club do to what a fans website to is just a tad ridiculous. What are you bringing Arsenal into it for? On your last question, figure it out mate, your a big boy now, you don't need us to hold your hand.
Bluedub
A fans website run by the fans mate (it's even in the slogan), pretty easy to compare. Why am I bringing Arsenal into it? Err, because they let Barca use their training complex when we were due to play them in the final, does that make them bitter or anything of the sort? Nope. Did VMU kick up a fuss and write an article about it? Nope. It's just an act of sportsmanship so why you're making a fuss and writing an article on it and making accusations of bitterness and what not I don't know. I already know the answer to my last question bluedub I just wanted to see if there was some pitiful attempt at defending it as being a wind-up attempt when in actual fact, you were just being hypocrites.
TheFamousNo7
Seriously you're comparing what a fans site do to what a club does, really? Head, arse, out of, spring to mind again.
Bluedub
The club speaks for itself and I personally don't see nothing other than sportsmanship offered to Bayern in the same manner Arsenal were displaying sportsmanship to Barcelona. If we wanted to see you knocked out we could've offered the training ground to Napoli and Villareal alike but we didn't. In comparison a fans website speaks for a minority or majority, depending on how big it is, of the fanbase. There's no argument here, this is a pointless, hypocritical article.
TheFamousNo7
The club speaks for itslef - nice of your club to sanction a banner that mocked it's neighbours then Famous. Not your fans, or some website, but your club. Because if un***d had not allowed the banner it would have come down. The ultimate in snide, and far, far worse than a fan site selling barca shirts. And allowing Bayern to use your training ground ahead of what is clearly a crucial game is relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but it is effectively putting two fingers up at City. Just a pity you're not playing basle at home - wonder what the reaction of your fans would be if we had allowed them to train at ours? At least we know you won't be giving Munich any tips on how to beat us eh? LOL
fifthcolumnblue
Whats Fergies record v Man City fcb? Sorry I forgot we've only played you once in all our history and the 4-3, 3-2, etc didn't happen. I'm sure Bayern don't need advice anyway seeing as they've given you a whoopin once already mate :P As for the Basel statement, speaking for myself I wouldn't be overly fussed, it's just a game afterall, some fans will take it the wrong way of course but it's got to be nice life if your rivals letting your next opposition train at their training ground is a big enough concern to write an article about it.
TheFamousNo7
A whoopin? Like a whoopie cushion? Don't you mean a whopping? Not that 2-0 would count as a whopping in anyone's book. But we know how you like to exaggerate mate. I'll tell you what mate, I'll give you odds of 6 to 1 that we beat you again at the Etihad.
Bluedub
Not quite as a the 3 to 2 odds that you wont beat us mate ;)
TheFamousNo7

Priceless!
Bluedub
arsenal let Barca use their training ground for the CL final did they? Didnt really need to train that much in the end though did they, as they won at a cantor.... at least they wont be there for a while again if ever!!!!! as for them letting Munich use thiers, we should get someone on the fence to watch 'em as dont city's training back on to it.... lol, as for the match got a feeling we will beat em anyway......
