MCFC Santa Stroll Imminent

This article is not suggesting City will stroll through December's fixtures! The Shoot for the Moon Santa Stroll kicks off at The Etihad Stadium on Sunday @ 11h30 MCR time...

Shoot for the Moon was created by Manchester City FC and Sport Relief as a fundraising partnership in order to help young people reach their goals.

More than 1,700 people have already made a donation to the Shoot for the Moon partnership by enrolling as 'Strollers' and purchasing a Sky Blue Santa Suit for the event.

Blues gaffer Roberto Mancini will be kicking off the extravaganza alongside Patrick Vieira and a host of City celebrities.

The Stroll is a centrepiece of the festive family fun day, with a myriad of activities in City Square. More ambitious runners have the option of a 5km Santa Dash, starting and finishing in the Square.

The Shoot for the Moon Santa Stroll is the first in a series of great days out where City fans and local people can get active, raise cash and change lives. And with all the money going to help vulnerable young people and families living in the Manchester area, everyone's a winner!
