VMC Forum Man Of The Season Latest

As Planet Blue gears up for it's 25th competitive fixture of the season, time to bring The Blue Massive up to date on the VMC Forum's take on the City squad's progress...

With the games coming at us as thick and fast as a Wayne Rugney ref goading, our Man Of The Season format is proving an excellent barometer of the performance of Roberto Mancini's league leaders.

Our most consistent player is the dramatically improved James Milner, hotly pursued by fellow 'big money City flops' (copyright all football hacks inside one month of signing - except Martin Samuel - in The Street of Shame) David Silva, Mario Balotelli and Edin Džeko.

It's also interesting to note the strengthening form of Gareth Barry who is motoring up the VMC rankings with some assured shifts.

The VMC Man of The Season Format 2011-2012:

This season VMC is running our Man of The Season contest using a Formula One style points system run by PhillyCitizhun Productions replacing the accumulated polls won result used at the end of the previous four seasons to define our Maine Man. This way we are getting greater accuracy over who is regularly putting in a shift for the City cause.
