Mario vs Villa in the FA Cup. Yaya received the ball from Vieira in his own half and played a peach of a ball over the top of Villa's defence, Mario is his nonchalant style caught the ball with a side footed half volley into the roof of the Villa net from the edge of the area, exquisite technique. My favourite team goal was our second in the Sick Swan Massacre, scintillating, slick passing tore U*d apart, leaving Aguero with a simple tap in at the back post, sexy football.

Sorry, Aguero's was the third goal that day, there was so many that I've lost track of what order they were scored in.

If you want pure class leading to a goal, Silva's against QPR (I think), when he was leaning to the right as the ball came but pushed off and nudged the ball forward and fired it into the bottom corner with almost no clearance.

Agreed a bit of fortune in the execution .but the intention ,,timing and impact of the goal top class.

A bit? It could have gone anywhere, a lucky deflection on the cross flat footed the City defence and Rooney had all the time in the world, he did very well to get up but another massive stroke of luck to see it go in off his shin. I've seen Crouch execute technically better overhead kicks.
