What Part Of P*** Off Don't You Understand?

Wayne Bridge remains at Manchester City even though he was told two years ago he was no longer required by manager Roberto Mancini.

The 31-year-old left back continues to receive his £90,000 a week salary despite playing only one League Cup game this season and yet he appears to be more than happy to stay-put until his four-and-a-half contact expires in the summer of 2013.

Blues boss at the time, Mark Hughes signed the former England international from Chelsea for a reported £10million but since the Welshman lost his job Wayne has hardly had a look-in.

Exactly 12-months ago West Ham took Bridge on loan but at end of the agreement Wayne returned to City. Other loan offers, namely Celtic failed to materialise after the Southampton born defender refused to travel north of the border.

Recently reported in the press both Bridge and Mancini appear to be sending out mixed messages - Bridge said, 'I don't speak to him (Mancini)'. 'That is not true,' said Mancini. 'I told Wayne two years ago that he was not part of our plans and if he wanted to find a good solution he should go somewhere else.'

Will Wayne dig his heels in and stay at MCFC or will he take the hint. In other words, what part of p*** off don't you understand?

Hopefully we will learn a lesson from this. Don't offer average players this kind of wage.
