Fowler on his way?

Fowler on his way?

Rumours are rife in Manchester that Robbie Fowler is on the verge of leaving Manchester City.

Fowler is yet to make an appearance for the first team this season, his last contribution being the failed spot kick in the last minute of last season, and last night he found himself absent from the reserve team who went on to beat Bolton 3-1.

If Fowler was on the way back to first team action it would have been expected that he made another appearannce for the reserves considering his fitness levels displayed at the recent reserve derby.

Rumours persist that Fowler has fell foul of the Stuart Pearce regime and that City are looking to offload without Fowler making the 2 appearances that would trigger a further £500,000 payment to Leeds

With the so far successful pairing of Vassell and Cole, Wright-Phillips itching for an opportunity and a war chest of some £10 million available for the January sales it would appear that Fowler has played his last game for City.

Good thing or bad ..... have your say in the forums.
