Travelling Blues Offered Cheap Pub Food In Wigan

The landlord at The Orwell public house and restaurant situated five minutes away from the DW Stadium has offered Manchester City supporter's cheap pub food ahead of Monday's 8pm kick-off.

The chap running the pub is a City season ticket holder and it goes without saying, Blues are more than welcome to pop in for a pint and a bite to eat prior to the game. Plus, if you mention you saw this article on Vital Manchester City you might get a pint cheaper than advertised.

A full menu is available until 7pm.

Only been to Wigan once - the ground is behind a huge shopping mall, which kind of kills the ambience of going to a game! But I'll remember this place the next time I go over, looks like it's got a bit of atmosphere.

Brilliant. 3 for a meal, and still you can wring something extra out of it by mentioning you saw the article on Vital MC, hoping you'll get a few pennies off yer beer. He should have that welcome sign from classic Simpsons 'Welcome Cheapskates'

LJ you clearly have no sense of humour - and the publican himself approached VMC with that suggestion, not us - free ad for him and all that. perhaps you should think before you type...
