VMC Forum Man of The Season Latest

The VMC Forum posse have sent up the sky blue smoke for our latest Man of The Match poll result. Time for another progress check on how our squad is performing...

January has proved to be every bit as challenging as Roberto Mancini predicted. The added factors of injury and suspension have seen Mancio's squad depth tested while some stern examinations have been meted out on the pitch. And we ain't done yet, despite City securing three consecutive league wins.

It's been pointed out this week how The Blues have been able to draw on goals from 15 different players thus far this season and the VMC MoTS leader board also shows how a host of key players have contributed when called upon to make City title contenders.

The squad unity is there for all to see and the manner of each goal celebration in the crucial win over Spurs showed just how much it meant to City's players/thugs/mercenaries/cheats.* delete as appropriate.

Our leader board reflects how Gareth Barry, Jimmy Milner's and Sergio Aguero are all maintaining a rich vein of form whilst Samir Nasri is now starting to realise in Manchester the experienced know how and talent that he possesses by the truckload.

The VMC Man of The Season Format 2011-2012:

This season VMC is running our Man of The Season contest using a Formula One style points system run by PhillyCitizhun Productions replacing the accumulated polls won result used at the end of the previous four seasons to define our Maine Man. This way we are getting greater accuracy over who is regularly putting in a shift for the City cause.

I really do think its David Silva who has changed a lot of games round for you with his awesome dribbling and attacking skills - kudos to that guy, Richards, and Hart are 3 players I enjoy watching play football, even if its in your colours.....
