'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Veteran Smalling Predicts City Implosion

Well, somebody's got to keep saying it haven't they? Rag defender Chris Smalling has followed the likes of numerous senior team mates in recent seasons by talking City...

With a combined 31 Premier League starts under his belt for Fulham and The Stretfords since his debut in July 2009, Smalling has attempted to lend weight to the mind game peddled by Sir Alex Ferguson that his united side are awash with title chasing experience. Even the return of 50 year old Paul Scholes hasn't quite reinforced that.

The 22 year old cockney said:

'We can't keep relying on them to drop points. Soon enough, if we keep ticking off these wins, then City will crumble.'

Right you are, Chris. See you in Manchester in April.

Keep it coming Rags, the more you talk the stronger our resolve becomes. The idiots are helping us forge a team spirit which they criticise us of not having, it's feckin hilarious.

The sanctimonious idiots make me sick. Every week they roll out another one. They've got whole media circus paying homage to them and they are still looking up at the true light of Manchester. Smalling is simply bargain basement budget signing who got lucky because they couldn't afford a major signing. Now he knows all about it. How long before Chopper Scholes scythes someone down and gets away with it because he's old and not as quick as he used to be?
pedmachine
I don't believe they'll even use the not as quick excuse Ped, they'll just say ah it's Scholesy tackling was never his strong point and have a good chuckle about it, as usual.

Hope springs eternal in the human breast; Man never Is, but always To be blest: The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home, Rests and expatiates in a life to come. Keep on hoping Smalling.

Did you learn nothing from VanDerVaarts idiotic prediction, Chris?
rojo2010
I saw this guys performance v Aresnal. I'd have kept my head down if i was him rather than giving out his 'experienced' view of who will win the Premiership. If Capello was watching he must see this guy is pants!
Barney Daniels
Yeah, but Crapello doesn't have a clue about football though Barney - hence why he continues to pick the lacklustre Glen Johnson, the totally overhyped Phil Jones and the inexperienced Kyle Walker at right back ahead of Micah Richards.
fifthcolumnblue
Not a crumbling, but both u lot and us lot and that there WHL lads will slip up on a few results - still plenty of banana skin games left this year.....
