Liverpool Continue To Struggle

Manchester City travel the short distance to Anfield on Wednesday evening to take on a struggling Liverpool side in the Carling Cup Semi-Final Second Leg.

Kenny Dalglish and his team suffered a humiliating 3-1 defeat at the hands of Bolton at the weekend and with City having to turn around a 1-0 first leg defeat the onus is certainly on Roberto Mancini's side.

With Vincent Kompany, Yaya and Kolo Toure definitely out and with (Mad) Mario Balotelli more than likely serving the first of his four match bans can the Blues beat what can only be described as a struggling Liverpool side?

Stewart Robson from ESPN discusses the problems facing Liverpool following their recent dismal form.

Odds on Aguero, Silva or Hart being sent off in this one? We lose a player to a red card or retrospective ban in near enough every big game now.

Having seen this lot three times now, I can say they are without a shadow of it the worst Liverpool side I have seen in my life. The most non Liverpool side in their history and tradition.

C`mon Liverpool
big cockeral
Grow up little cockeral - just because you now "hate us" doesn't make it clever to shout it on a fans' forum. Actually enjoying the hatred from the spurs fans at the moment, it shows that they know they're out of the title race for sure...

Its never been a better time to beat Liverpool. They look tired and clueless. Perhaps King Kenny isn't the man after all.
Tudor
We most definitely owe them one for the way we were treated at Anfield last time out, but I'm afraid they'll try to park the bus again.

cockeral? not cockerel? the shortened version suits you anyway you tool

Hope you beat the boring football of Liverpool. Despite Mario's thuggery, you are a footballing side no question. They did a "job" on you in the first leg in a game i dont think you were quite up for. I'm backing you to turn it around

come on bitters and lets ruin the dippers season in four days
Nobby Allcock
They certainly were shocking at Bolton.

I dont hate any City fans - one of my best pals at work is a City fan, BUT he turned to City when Arsenal stopped challenging for trophies, and money came into your club - but to be fair he knows his team, and we have a good old banter in the smoke shelter at work.....
