PSG Call Time On Tévez Over Personal Terms

Good old bad old Carlos Tévez has come to all beleaguered City fans' rescue by doing his best to take the 'call for his head-lines' off Mario Balotelli...

As the pontificating over the evil scourge of English football that is Balotelli reaches fever pitch, up pops our on strike fourth choice striker with a refusal to accept a lucrative Paris Saint-Germain offer.

Contrary to urban myth, the erstwhile El Apache only pockets a piffling £198,000 per week at City. PSG tabled a personal offer towards Tévez's agent-ish adviser bordering on £250,000 over 3 years.

PSG Director Leonardo takes up the story:

'We stopped the negotiations. There was an opportunity. We studied it. We made a great offer but failed to agree a deal. We will not pay excessively so we stop. This is over.'

Oh dear. Tévez who has been giving his intentions by phone now must wait and see if AC Milan are prepared to stump up the dosh required for a permanent deal and take him one mile closer to Buenos Aires as the Boeing 777 flies.

Once more, City continue to hold all the aces.
