Tévez Offload To AC Milan Resurrected?

Newswires across Europe are talking up the resurrection of talks between Manchester City and AC Milan for the transfer of on strike striker Carlos Tévez...

Gazzetta dello Sport and France Football both report this weekend that a series of telephone exchanges have taken place between Adriano Galliani, Milan's Chief Executive, and Khaldoon al-Mubarak, City's Chairman, with a view to realising Tévez and his cronies dispatch to Italy by Tuesday's transfer deadline.

The story goes that despite signing Maxi Lopez, AC's veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi is to be up the road shortly, meaning Milan need a further striker reinforcement.

It's thought that Milan are close to meeting City's Ł25 million knockdown asking price for the homesick-England sick-City hierarchy hating then loving-Mancini loving then hating nut job.

More as soon as we get it...

In their dreams. I say make them bring briefcases stuffed full of cash for this one, then once it's in the bank they can have him. Otherwise Milan can spin.

Why are we even talking to these guys? They're clowns, Berlusconi being the biggest one of them all! This transfer will never happen...

well, IF AC actually pay the going rate for Tevez let him go, cos as i see it, him improving his golf handicap in Argentina, is not making his sell on price go up is it? It's actyually losing us money so the quicker the deal goes ahead the better, dont care who to as long as he is gone, and he is out of our hair, and some one else's problem....

If Tevez stays .it only hurts Tevez .you guys dont need him or the money

It's not about the money Nickster. It's about getting fair value and not letting T***z and the snake dictate everything.

Word on le street this Monday morning is that Kia Joorabchian was behind the Liverpool swap offer. He had tried to engineer a loan to Liverpool and West Ham. He had literally offered Tevez to them, but both subsequent enquiries were turned down by City. Yet he continued to press Liverpool into doing something. The story this morning is Liverpool are preparing a cash plus Carroll bid - watch this space.

Strange to hear myself say this, but Liverpool don't actually have a single player that I feel would improve our team these days. Still think it's hugely hilarious that "Homesick" Tevez would even consider moving 35 miles down the road, and even more hilarious that Liverpool think we'd even consider taking a talentless barge like Carroll in his stead!

Mancini on Monday: "Carlos doesn't have any problem with me...Everyone should always answer for his behaviour. If a player is at one club and wants to go to another, it is an option for the player. Maybe for the club it is a big problem."
