VMC Forum Man Of The Season Latest

As Manchester City gear up for the crucial league clash with Chelsea tonight, time to bring Planet Blue up to date with VMC's Man Of The Season standings...

Our forum polls have continued to reflect squad performance. Though David Silva is still our overall leader with 10 fixtures remaining, there is no doubt that his form has dipped into an erratic mode. Sergio Aguero's ability to turn a game on it's head sees him settled in second place ahead of Jimmy Milner who alongside Gareth Barry has stalled in his considerable progress through a lack of game time of late.

The brilliant Joe Hart has featured more prominently in recent weeks. His role will be more crucial than ever for the big run-in.

The VMC Man of The Season Format 2011-2012:

This season VMC is running our Man of The Season contest using a Formula One style points system run by PhillyCitizhun Productions replacing the accumulated polls won result used at the end of the previous four seasons to define our Maine Man. This way we are getting greater accuracy over who is regularly putting in a shift for the City cause.
