VMC Forum Man Of The Season Latest

As the VMC Forum sends up more sky blue poll smoke following our latest victory over the rags, we take a look back at the leader board during a testing January...

...and comparing it below to today's table it's here where we can point directly to Samir Nasri's continuing resurgence alongside Sergio Aguero's meteoric rise to the top of our table with two fixtures remaining. Joe Hart, Gael Clichy, Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott, Pablo Zabaleta and Yaya Toure's consistency is noteable as is David Silva's persistence. Jimmy Milner has fallen away in the standings due to lack of game time.

The VMCers Man of The Match from the game that sealed the double over united is Vincent Kompany. BBC Sports Personality of The Year candidate in waiting and brilliant City Captain.

The VMC Man of The Season Format 2011-2012:

This season VMC is running our Man of The Season contest using a Formula One style points system run by PhillyBlueMoon Productions replacing the accumulated polls won result used at the end of the previous four seasons to define our Maine Man. This way we are getting greater accuracy over who is regularly putting in a shift for the City cause.

Poor Old Fergie, what have you done to him, you know he likes winning and getting his own way, I nearly fell out my arm chair when Mancini stood up to him, Fergie was spitting feathers..perhaps he needs to get out more or it could be the KOMPANY he keeps, anyway good luck vs the barcodes this weekend, i hope you win the title...from a spurs fan

Did the Manure fans get home safe after the game, only it's a bloody long way back to the home counties...every game is an away game for them; I always remember sitting in a bar in Pattaya, Thailand, watching the football, a lad was talking to the thai girls, when i walked off to the toilet, we spoke I asked him ''were are you from'' Manchester he said, oh your a City fan then, how did you know that, he looked suprised, because Utd fans live near me, I'm from cambridge. Had a great laugh and a beer.
