Fashion: Rags In Shocking Shirt Clanger Fiasco

It's often said you don't see many United shirts around town these days. Well next season there's sure to be a lot less judging by leaked images of alleged tea towels...

As the City juggernaut continues to gather globalised momentum, news that Nike will be knocking out City kits from the 2013-2014 season wasn't that big a surprise considering their reach beyond that of their subsidiary umbro.

But if the alleged horror shows below are the standard City fans can expect, then we might want to hold back on mirroring the torrent of laughs that your average rag can expect to cop for this summer when he wanders into his local Kentish pub resplendant in er, Taggart Tartan??

They really are abysmal and were the 'fly in the ointment' on hearing that Nike will be taking over the City kit contract in a years time. Whilst I find these tea towels to be utterly laughable I just hope that City have a better grip & influence in the Nike design department (as they have had with Umbro). That said. These really are truly, truly awful.

If I don't like our Nike shirts then I won't buy one, my kids won't be getting one either. I've not heard a good word from any City fan about this shirt deal since we found out about it. Be warned City.

A Tartan tribute to Baconface to mark his final season maybe? Awful design, I fear what Nike will do to our beautiful kits after Umbro's good work, maybe they will let the Umbro designers (since they're owned by Nike) keep making ours.

are they really the new shirts?or is someone having a laugh with the Rags? i dont think anyone that stupid would come up with THAT design....... But it is the rags, so Stupity and Utd go hand in hand......
