The Stretfords Debt Deepens

The Stretfords Debt Deepens

Planet Blue welcomed more good news today as the newswires creaked with the revelation that The Glazer Empire's groaning debt mountain at the swamp has increased...

There's next to nothing the predominantly rag biased media's crestfallen hacks or deluded nitid independent websites can do about the financial shambles that won't go away despite the straw clutching of linking the deposed champions with an array of top stars.

The rags are paying for their chastening exit from an easy peasy Champions League group and then some.

Net debt has risen by £26m and total revenue is down 5.8%, according to quarterly figures released by the swamp. The figures also show that the Glazer family spent the equivalent of more than £250,000 a day, Wayne Rugney's weekly salary, on a £71m buyback of bonds and on interest payments over the past nine months.

They are worse off than they were a year ago and have won nothing.

United are in the poo with a tired old in denial manager and an over-relied upon weary old guard holding the side together.

The days of Taggart breaking transfer records and buying star players unopposed are long gone.

Love Glazer, Hate United. Keep up the good work Uncle Malc.

Oh dear. Maybe if they relied on their vaunted Academy they'll win something again. Only problem is that all of their stars are leaving for greener pastures, as they would like to win something in their careers. Enjoy your 19 titles, I'm sure you can sell them once you go into administration. And before you drop the 'too big to fold' crap, look at what's going on with Rangers.

You make me sick. Without the oil money you're just a $hit team. On par with wet spam. One day you'll be back where you belong.

It tickles me how many people we've made angry by winning the league. Most are rags but the occasional bitter from another club. Speaking of which...
18/05/2012 19:45:00
Gosh Tottenham Hotcore is not quite the sharpest knife in the box but let's talk his erudite language .... Without your players that have two legs you're just a ***** team. Bet he's hoping Chelsea win tomorrow.
18/05/2012 20:23:00
I wonder if the debt worries Platini or is he still leading the charge on trying to reduce the amount of money invested into football.
18/05/2012 20:24:00
So, would fans rather the diving cheats of stretford win the title again? The rest of England hate the rags...until we win the title, then they hate us. What a pathetic trend.
18/05/2012 20:25:00
Relevance to City? None. You win the title and we're still all you can talk about.
18/05/2012 20:38:00
Hey, Famous! How's the ego treating you after the biggest choke in English Football history? Add that to your books.
18/05/2012 20:47:00
I think it's relevant. From Gill thru Taggart and his old troopers we've had them talking City's money all season. Take it.
