Eden Hazard Is Coming To Manchester

Eden Hazard has played his last game for French club Lille and is coming to Manchester as soon as the transfer window opens.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder and winger is asked, after receiving his Ligue 1 Player of the Year Award, whether he will be going to Manchester City or Manchester United and this is what he had to say.

Reports in today's national press suggest his head may have been turned in favour of going to Champions League winners Chelsea, however this is just pure conjecture, speculation and paper talk.

Hope so. Won't believe a word of it until he's sat next to the manager at a press conference confirming his signing though - and certainly hope said manager is Roberto Mancini...
fifthcolumnblue
So we've the usual suspects at Wapping talking up him signing for the rags, Chelsea coming into the equation from continental questions and City somewhere inbetween. Meanwhile, the player heads off on holiday. He's some player though!
Johnny Baguette
Sorry lads, but he hasn't narrowed it down to only the Manchester teams now at all. Chelsea have come in and he was supposed announce which of the two Manchester teams he was going to after last nights game, in which he scored a hat trick. He's now said he needs more time to decide over all three.
HeavyRiffs
Riffs, he was never due to announce who he has decided on, that was a media fabrication. Hazard said that he will decide at the end of the season, in tabloid speak that meant as soon as the final whistle was blown.
Bluedub
I think if he was coming to City, he would have decided by now. Chelsea will snare him I fear
rojo2010
rojo ... I think you are right but i would prefer him there than the Ragodrome, as he looks a class act and would have fitted our need for some width.
Wswilly3
Could be right but on his own site he's suggesting that he wants to go to a club with stability. Trigger happy Roman doesn't offer much stability.
Bluedub
SSN saying as they understand it, the club he's chosen is the Rags, and Taggart..... BUT untill he actually comes out and says YES it's club A,B,C,or D, Then it's all speculation and conjecture.....and no one knows where he is going.
cityman51
SSN say everyone is going to United... Silva, Nasri... will need a better source than "Sky Sources" to believe that one.

Here's a thing. The rumour in France is that agent fees are holding up any move. 6 million Euros is the asking price. Who pays it get's Hazard. - My attitude towards Hazard is hardening. I sense City's will be. Maybe Chelsea's but less so as they need younger players like the rags. - But the point is I believe that publicly keeping the Champions of England and Europe waiting is taking the *****.
Johnny Baguette
@Johnny, I agree with you.
ucmyway
keep dreaming.HAZARD has confirmed he is coming to CHELSEA the champions of Europe(i never get tired of saying that,u should try it too).Better start preparin ur defences cos hazard's gonna poison dem,Hulk's gonna smash smash dem.Torres pls jux torr-ment dem
