Barton Cops For A Twelve Game Whammer

The erstwhile reformed character who disgraced himself at The Etihad Stadium and beyond on the last day of the season has received a Football Associtaion verdict...

The FA advised of the QPR player:

'This eight-match suspension is to run consecutively to the four-game suspension Barton was already given for his dismissal in the fixture, making a total of 12 matches....Following Barton's dismissal in the 54th minute of the match, there followed two incidents involving Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany. As Barton had already been dismissed, both of these incidents fell outside the jurisdiction of the referee...Barton is already serving a four-match suspension for his dismissal in the match, which consists of three matches for violent conduct plus one match as this was the player's second dismissal of the season. The two further breaches for violent conduct ordered he be suspended for eight matches to run consecutively to the four matches, taking the total suspension to 12 matches.'

It's the latest sorry chapter in the career of the MCFC Academy graduate whose once promising talent has been engulfed in trouble.

such a nice lad, misunderstood you know?! Shame he isn't just banned from football really.
The Fear
He'll miss a third of the season for QPR. And he was captain for that match. Disgraceful.

OUCH! Plenty of time to contemplate his sins then!

Still think he's a very lucky boy. In any other walk of life elbowing, kicking and headbutting a work colleague (even one from a rival company) would land you in jail. Over to Sparkless and QPR to decide what other punishments to dole out to the thug.

QPR dont have a pesonnel dept, or Human Resources as it's known nowadays, they are 'Outsourcing' it to a private company? considering the owner is a Billionaire, and Owns countless companies, surely he would know how to deal with the Thug that is Joey Barton, he has a criminal record too so should not be to difficult to work out what to do with him? common sense has to prevail.... but this is football so it most probably wont.

So eight weeks for racists taunts and twelve for biffo. Maybe should be the other way round and I am no fan of Joe, who is a head case. After J.T. is found guilty it will be interseting to see what ban the F.A. dream up.
