Man City Battle With PSG For Van Persie

Video: Manchester City face competition from Paris Saint-Germain to sign Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie - that's if reports in Friday's press are to be believed.

On a personal note MCFC don't need Van Persie. He's had his best days at Arsenal and we certainly don't want someone who's injury prone. In addition, Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko are far and away ahead in the pecking order so what's the point?

I wonder what Arsenal fans think about another close season full of speculation? Last year it was Nasri and now Van Persie. Dear-oh-dear.

i tend to agree, we have four great strikers and if they all want to stay as reported why change. What we do need is more cover at centre half and in central midfield.

I think we'd be making a huge mistake signing Van Persie. Yes, he was outstanding last season, but with his injury record and his age, there is absolutely no guarantee he'll ever have another season as good as the one just gone.
