Could De Rossi Be Manchester City's Next Signing?

The Italian International has been linked with Manchester City all season so is the transfer of the season finally about to unfold?

Sky Sports have reported that the Roma star's agent has flown into Manchester to discuss a move to the Premier League Champions.

Earlier this month the Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini stated: 'If a monstrous bid materialised we would evaluate it'.

One man that will be over the Blue Moon with these report's is Roberto Mancini. The Italian has been a long term admirer of the versatile midfielder and perhaps maybe his vision of seeing De Rossi in his starting eleven, is just that little bit closer to becoming reality.

Would be a far better signing for us than Van Persie.
