Javi Garcia Is A Blue

Manchester City have completed a sixth summer signing and the fifth on deadline day in the shape of the much coveted and versatile Javi Garcia from Benfica...

Renowned for his physical presence, tough tackling, passing range and ability to play as an attacking or holding midfielder or even as a centre half, the Spaniard who made his international debut this year has been monitored by Europe's elite clubs repeatedly. He's now City's man for £15.8 million on a 4 year deal and The Blues midfield is very much strengthened. The 25 year old's signing represents the icing on a terrific deadline day cake for the City hierarchy. Some shrewd business has been done.

Welcome to Manchester, Javi!

Javi Garcia, O Gladiador

...And as City's summer transfer business concludes, a message to the anti-City brigade hacks in The Street of Shame: Please can we get back to the City ruining football stories now and forget about all the snubs and the doomed because they failed to sign anyone headlines? Thanks.

Nigel who? ;)

I think they had to move Nigel on to bring in Javi, but is he also a replacement for Kolo so Bob can play the three at the back plan D
Buzz Lightyear
The rags were desperate to sign Garcia this year. You won't find many Taggart arslikhan hacks reporting that.
Johnny Baguette
I have no idea what formation/s Mancini is going to play. Still got Barry to come back into MF too. good that the rags wanted Garcia although this is the first I've heard about that.
kennyclementstache
Certainly gives us options ...hopefully a great signing.
