Rag Goalie In City Are A Great Team Shocker

Stretford goalkeeper David De Gea who put in some Paddy Roche-esque performances against The Blues last season has gone public in his admiration for Roberto Mancini's men...

The Spanish young werewolf told his country's media:

'City are full of great players in all positions. It will be really difficult for Real Madrid, both in the Bernabeu and in Manchester. The strike force is deadly...the club has an incredible group of strikers. If you want to win the Champions League, you have to beat the best teams and City are one of them. They are capable of beating anyone, whether that's Real Madrid or Barcelona...City are a great team.'

With his words, De Gea has broken a mould which has been set in stone across recent seasons at the swamp. He's the first senior player to rate City amongst a tsunami of bitterness.

Wouldn't go so far as to say quality. He makes some nice dives for the cameras although he is a good shot stopper to be fair. His weakness is commanding his area and can be exploited as we've seen time and again.

Second most expensive goalkeeper of all time behind only Buffon. AKA another United academy product who cost nothing.
