Vassell out for Two Weeks

Vassell out for Two Weeks

Darius Vassell has been riuled out for a minimum of two weeks according to the official site, www.mcfc.co.uk.

Vassell injured his medial knee ligaments in the 1-0 home victory against Arsenal and has been sent home to rest.

Stuart Pearce had this to say to the official site. "Vass will be out for at least a fortnight. It`s a blow but one of those things you have to expect during the season. He is at home resting at the minute and we hope that the injury will not require surgery."

That's a blow, but it could give Miller his big chance to prove himself

Strange that the injury has taken so long to surface. His display against Arsenal was lacking his usual pace and gave the impression he was still carrying an injury from last season.
