'We can do better...I hope we are starting to find the form of last season. We started to change things a few games ago and it seems to be paying off. I am very pleased that our strikers have now scored six goals in the last two games. It is important they are in good form and are finding the net on a regular basis.

'The Premier League and the UEFA Champions League are two different competitions. On Wednesday we will play against one of the best teams in the world...we want to do a good job because we still have a very slight chance in this group. It will be difficult, but we want to win and continue our good form.'


Paul Lambert:

'That was never a handball. What the linesman saw there I do not know. You have got to be 100 per cent sure to give that and he saw something I think 50,000 other people never saw. We, as managers, are always hauled up, but that is a woeful decision.

'I haven't clue what he saw. It might not have changed the game but we certainly had a foothold in it.'

Would just like to say thanks to the City supporters who applauded the 19th minute for Stylian Petrov it shows that at least one half of Manchester has respect for a football cause

Well we aren't United fans, United fans crave conflict and hostility because they have become so bored and desensitised by years of success. They are football's religious cult that always needs to bully someone to keep themselves entertained.
