Smells Like Team Spirit

Smells Like Team Spirit

The anti-City brigade have been silenced again and must revert to desperately preparing copy for hoped for Real Madrid and Chelsea defeats. Despite their worst, the City mood is upbeat...

Oh what a crisis, eh? The City squad are threatening to hit top gear again and mirroring the eagerness across Planet Blue to get at the Spanish and London giants in a big week for the English Champions.

Dapper City gaffer Roberto Mancini who remains certain to get sacked etc has captured the belief coursing through mercenary Sky Blue veins with a call to arms:

'On Wednesday we play against one of the best teams in the world, with a fantastic history. We want to do a good job...we have few chances to go through but it is important to do a good job. Like I said against Tottenham, against Aston Villa, I saw the spirit we had last year.'

Can City pull off a Real and Chelsea double header?
