Oh what a crisis, eh? The City squad are threatening to hit top gear again and mirroring the eagerness across Planet Blue to get at the Spanish and London giants in a big week for the English Champions.

Dapper City gaffer Roberto Mancini who remains certain to get sacked etc has captured the belief coursing through mercenary Sky Blue veins with a call to arms:

'On Wednesday we play against one of the best teams in the world, with a fantastic history. We want to do a good job...we have few chances to go through but it is important to do a good job. Like I said against Tottenham, against Aston Villa, I saw the spirit we had last year.'
