Fans Are Backing Pearce

After one of the Stuart Pearce's most difficult weeks since becoming City boss, our web poll has shown overwhelming backing for him to continue:

The results of the poll were as follows:

- Keep him .... it'll turn around 75%

- Time to go now: 19%

- Give him the West Ham game: 3%

- West Ham and Everton 3%

However, just to prove what a fickle lot you are, there was a rush of votes to keep Pearce only after the West Ham victory. Prior to the game, it was an even split between keeping him and getting rid of him.

It will be interesting to see how backing for him might change if we lose against Everton at the weekend.

I sort of get the feeling that last week will prove to be a watershed in Pearce's career and that he'll emerge a lot stronger and wiser as a result - we'll find out over the next few weeks

I'm glad I voted FOR him BEFORE the West Ham game. I'm sure he will make a lot of people eat their words before the season is out.
