'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pearce Putting In Overtime

After being spotted at Deepdale last week, Stuart Pearce was seen at National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday night.

True to his word about working harder to improve City's on-field fortunes, Psycho made the relatively long journey to Milton Keynes to watch the MK Dons take on Torquay United; a really mouth-watering fixture !

One can only think he hasn't gone there as a neutral to enjoy the quality of the football, but instead to follow up a scouting lead and watch a player, but who?

I would think that he's gone to check out Torquay's former Aston Villa starlet, Jamie Ward who has been attracting interest from a number of clubs in the higher leagues. Although Ward netted twice on the night in front of Pearce, his side still went down 3 - 2.

I'm not sure whether League One players are what City needs at the moment, in fact the only person with Torquay connections that most City fans wouldn't mind signing up is Sky's Soccer AM totty, the lovely Helen Chamberlain.

We'd all rather see her on the touchline instead of that little Beanie.
