'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Academy Get A Point

It was top versus bottom at Platt Lane today but as usual this game did as most of top versus bottom games do, and that is look nothing like that of their respective positions. In fact I would have to say that perhaps Everton shaded the pattern of play. City took the lead in the twenty sixth minute when Adam Clayton floated a ball into the box and Ched Evans chested the ball down well and smashed the ball past the Everton goalkeeper. City tried to double their lead mainly through Evans again but a clean opening never came his way as Everton defended well. Everton equalised with ten minutes to play when City fell asleep on the left and the Everton player fired in from the angle.
