Micah gets England nod.

In what can only be described as a surprising act of foresight by England boss, Steve McClaren, Micah Richards has been handed a call up to the full England squad for the international against Holland.

The 18 year old has only appeared 22 times for the blues since his first senior start last season and if he gets a game for England next Wednesday he will become the youngest Manchester City player to ever appear for the national side.

Congratulations are in order, good luck Micah.

Well done Micah - thoroughly deserved. I think Weaver should have got the nod over Foster, but what are Phil Neville, Jenas and Downing doing in the squad ???

Jenas is playing out of his skin for us at the moment, agree that Phil neville is a wasted space! and on last weeks performance, Richards deserves his place!

He deserves it and its good to see new blood in the England squad!
Cravens
He will make an excellent replacement for the woeful Lampard in midfield.
