'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robbie .. is it the end?

Despite constant denials from the manager that Fowler is on his way out of the club, little news seems to be being made available about his availability. Today offers the best chance for a Fowler return, Andrew Cole is serving a one match ban, but all the speculation points to a start up front for Sibierski or Wright-Phillips. Fowler has not played for the reserves since a disappointing outing against United where he looked, once again, to be short of fitness and carrying a pound or two more than neccessary.

Rumours continue to mount about his position at the club, Ipswich and Portsmouth being the latest clubs to be linked with signing him. Whatever the reality it appears that Robbie Fowler has become the real life invisible man at City. Today'S team should tell us a great deal.
