With all the speculation generated after the chairman's comments at this year's AGM, mcfconline ran a poll to see how responsive City fans were to takeover talks.
A damning indictment was delivered on the current board, with 58% of those polled responding that it was about time.
John Wardle's City heritage obviously means something to some supporters with 22% urging him to enter into talks with the good of the club at heart.
20% of those polled would not like to see the club follow the example set by clubs such as West Ham, Villa, Chelsea and the Rags by selling their soul for a get rich quick fix.
