Micah wanted at City

Micah wanted at City

In the wake of relentless transfer speculation surronding Micah Richards, mcfconline's members have delivered a clear message to the Manchester City board as to what they want to see happen to the latest star to come through the ranks.

76% of those polled said Richards should not be sold under any circumstances whatsoever and regardless of the size of bid.

Just 24% of those polled believe Micah should be sold with the majority of those saying only if the money is spent on strengthening the squad.

These results support the consensus around Manchester that we are not a feeder club for Chelsea and do not wish to be seen to be.

Some of the best young talent in the country has emerged from the MCFC academy and a message needs to be sent to the big clubs that that talent is being developed for the good of Manchester City rather than anyone else.

Ambition is every bit as much about keeping your best players as it is the players you bring in.
