Embedded within Kyle's comments section has seen Spurs fans bombard him with messages. Here are a selected few:

After 8 years at the club you have helped Tottenham to become world class and I'm sure that in the next couple of seasons we will get some silverware. We've also got a new stadium now as well. Do you really want to leave now?
Stay at Tottenham. Please do not get tempted by the riches of Manchester City. Please do not leave.

Please stay with us in the team. You were the reason why I have been supporting Spurs. We are willing to give you huge affection. We hope you to decide well, thanks and see you soon.

Stay with the family, don't take notice from all of these clubs when we finished above them this season especially man city. We have a higher chance of winning something now than them!

@kylewalker2 honestly thought you was a true spur no matter what...gutted you might/probably going...good luck...

City will give more money, Spurs will win the premier league- you're choice mate.

You're integral part of the Spurs machine. Be a part of it and you'll be a prem legend. Stay on the potchy bus and ride the journey #bestdefenceintheleague

I suppose Blues would act in a similar way if the shoe was on the other foot. Wouldn't we?
