Ian Cheeseman Returns To Tuesday Night Radio

Ian Cheeseman Returns To Tuesday Night Radio

Former BBC Radio Manchester sports commentator Ian Cheeseman is set to return to the airwaves every Tuesday evening from 6pm, August 8th on XS Manchester.

I have an announcement...

Ian left the BBC at the end of last season after 23 years reporting on Manchester City FC. Now, he's joining XS to host the Football Social show on the same day and time as his previous City show - Blue Tuesday.

Head-to-head

Jimmy Wagg, who stood in for Ian while he was incapacitated is expected to host Blue Tuesday on a permanent basis while Cheesy, who has a huge and loyal following will go head-to-head on XS (106.1FM) for the one hour show. In addition, former City legend Paul Lake will join Ian every week to discuss the very latest news coming out of MCFC.

Let the ratings war begin.

Much prefer Cheesy to Jimmy Wagg. Waggs not biased enough for me!
