Ireland Seals Croke Park Victory

Manchester City midfielder Stevie Ireland scored the goal that sealed the points for the Republic of Ireland.

For the second game running the young midfielder provided the Republic with the vital goal they needed for the three qualifying points.

On the day that new Wembley hosted its first game, Ireland claimed his own place in history by being the first player to score at Croke Park.

Vital Manchester City raises a glass to Stevie. It is always a pleasure to see City players performing on the International stage and to see them set significant milestones.
