City handed home tie
City were handed another home tie when the draw for the 4th round was made earlier today.
If Wigan prevail in their replay, City will be looking to take early revenge for the 4-3 Boxing Day defeat at the JJB. If it is Leeds it could put Robbie Fowler in the novel position where both clubs will be paying his wages.
As a personal preference I hope it's Leeds. Despite the fact that Wigan have never won at the home of City, City v Leeds conjures up images of good cup ties of the past. Leeds would bring a much larger contingent than Wigan which should make for a good cup tie atmosphere (and rather lively). That said, a home tie is a home tie and whatever the opposition I would expect City to prevail.
The tie will be played on the weekend 28th/29th January.
