Sven Agrees in Principle!

Sky Sports News has reported that Sven Goran Eriksson has agreed, in principle, to become the next manager of Manchester City.

It is reported that a three year deal has been agreed but that no official anouncement will be made until Thaksin Shinawatra acquires 75% of the club's shares although that figure should be arrived at in the next few days.

Various news sources were this morning reporting that Sven will bring Swedish assistant manager Roland Andersson with him as his number 2.

Andersson has confirmed he has been approached.

If there are no last minute slip ups it looks like the summer saga is now over and the time has finally arrived to recruit quality players.

I wish Sven well and hope he has every success with Manchester City.

Its a shame, I always liked City, now you have a mercenary manager with no emotion, and a dodgy thai money man, good luck guys but for me its a sad day.
