'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RIP Tony Wilson

As a teenager of the eighties and devotee of Factory records and the Hacienda I simply wish to pass on my sympathies at the news of the death of Anthony Wilson.

I don't really care that the man was a united devotee, some things go beyond football; I am more concerned that the man helped put Manchester and its music back on the world map.

Tonight Manchester is missing one of its more important people. That the man had to have his cancer treatment funded by those he helped make it to the top is symptomatic of this country and its shortcomings.

Anthony H Wilson RIP.

RIP from Vital WHU and congrats for the result today, though I'm sure he would have loved the result to be the other way around!

Bit of a raver then Andy? He packed in a great deal in his life, but 57 is no age to go. RIP.
