Senior Cup Abject Display

MCFC Reserves 1 - 2 BWFC Reserves

City kicked off their defence of the Manchester Senior cup with one of the most abject displays I have seen. The only outfield player that was showing any real effort was Gelson Fernades and even he ran himself into the ground trying to get the rest of the City team to wake up. City's consolation goal came in second half stoppage time when Karl Moore was brought down on the edge of the box. He stepped up to convert the effort.

oth Bolton's goals were scored by Zoltan Harsanyi who as per usual put out a fair few senior foreign professionals in their team.

ith many scouts looking on there will be very few positives they can take back to their clubs about the city players.
