'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sven joy at derby day win! (AUDIO)

It's been exciting times for the blue half of Manchester in the opening week of the season. Having won the previous opening two matches, new boss Sven Goran Eriksson endeared himself to the City faithful after watching Geovanni's deflected drive, and a couple of good saves from Kasper Schmeichel, secure a derby day win over rivals United at the City of Manchester Stadium.

With an exceptional performance from Micah Richards at the forefront, the City boss proudly declares it's not his problem whether the defender plays for England on a regular basis or not, and is delighted at 3 wins and 3 clean sheets out of three so far.
