Deadline Day

Deadline Day

So who is going to come in and who is going to leave?

We already let Danny Mills join Charlton until December yesterday. Will there be more departures..

The rumours seem to be

Samaras to Boro for 3m?...GOOD DEAL

Camara to City, Vass to Wigan...NOT SURE

Corradi back to Italy..DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH, COULD BE A GOOD DEAL

I will keep updating this story when more rumours pop up. Im still hoping on the Bresciano deal.

UPDATE:

So Corradi has joined Parma on a season long loan.

Dickov has joined Palace on a 4 month loan deal.

Other then that, it seems like its our window shut.

SGE says no incomings, but their will be outgoings, rumours re corradi not yet confirmed by official site, no news on Sam Harris and Vass, Danny Mills only gone for 4 months, but can see that turning permanent, interesting that SGE put him on bench. Dabo came on late on but even so either his confidence has gone or he is not interested in staying, but no rumours on Dabo, would make good championship player. Dickov says hes not going, he will retire next year get his coaching badges and wants to help the academy, I have no problem with that and hope that Sven finds a spot for him.

City 81, I don't think Sveenis wants to pay the prices The English clubs are demanding, when he can get a player of equal or better quality for half that price. He has said he is happy with what he has and would only get another player in if the quality was there. From what I have seen, we have a squad of players that can challenge for top half and certainly will get better.

Corradi, has gone to Parma on year loan, I do not think he will be back as a city player, felt sorry for him last season, he did try but he needed the midfield and wide players to get it into the box for him to score, he always seemed to be chasing the ball and often through SP 451 system left alone upfront with no support. Lacked pace for the premiership. Good Luck arividerci Corradi (has stunning girlfirend, will miss her too)

I think Sven is wise not rushing to buy more players for the sake of it. He has assembled a first class squad that can do us proud and by the time the January window comes around he will know exactly if he has to bring in more players, somehow I think not with maybe the odd exception.

Alphieb. We now know that SGE has replacements along the defense after the game at Bristol City, Mills, Dickov and Corradi gone, I wish them well. That leaves Vassell, Sam Harris and Dabo. I just cannot see Dabo doing anything he is too slow, but Vassell and Sam are both quick and may get a chance to improve, we shall see.

I was glad to see that Sam has not moved on as I am sure he will come good under Sven's guidance. I would like to see Hart given a chance as I think he could turn out to be our best 'keeper, he has presence and doesn't flap and will only get better.

Alphieb, Sam he has shown us flashes of his talent and maybe he is trying too hard, but playing out of position and the fans having a go is not helpful. I would like to see him out on loan for a month to get some of that confidence back.
