Ta-ra Then Bernardo

Ta-ra Then Bernardo

And I quote the Parma corner flag wielding mercenary...

'Now my ambition today is to do so well that at the end of the season I can ask Manchester City to leave me here permanently.

'England was an experience that allowed me to mature and know myself a little better. It will be useful for my time here as well.

Parma are welcome to him. He certainly did get plenty of time to get to know himself as he warmed our bench on numerous occasions.

His reported 2 million quid signature from Valencia where he had hardly set the world alight and his subsequent 3 league goals for City symbolise the utter cluelessness of what will now be remembered as 'The Pearce Nightwatchman Era.'

If a nigh*****chman was what was needed I'd have gone with Matthew Hoggard myself. Corradi's departure is no loss ..... just hoping that Samaras can come good under Sven. Miracles not much to ask for?
