Somebody's been 'avin a larf! The hapless Javier Garrido 'wins' the MCFC Vital Man of The Match award for the Chelski debacle..

This particular match poll was unique in that a flood of Chelski visitors logged on with us to register their appreciation of Mr. Garrido's absolutely brutal non performance.

Petrov and Hart stumbled in second and third respectively for their efforts..

Jb, I have looked at the Muen, they make Samaras mom, but clearly in a game where we literally got thrashed and no-one deserves a mom award, Garrido is Chelski's mom in game for a larrf.

Hmmm. Entirely off topic, but I'm not waiting for someone to start another article...so what is it with our players after they get a whiff of international duty. Barton, ok he was nuts before, but after he got his first cap he decided he was above the badge, Ireland, well the less said about that now the better as I have no idea what really happened and no one else does either, so I'm not passing judgement and now Richards turning down 50,000 a week. Reading his own press clippings too much? For whatever money he's holding out for I'd hope to see him taking more control during that last game to stop the bleeding. I know Garrido was letting him get killed, but if you are demanding superstar wages you better back it up when your team is getting sliced open like that. I had people from all over the world calling after that game, even my Upton Park mates felt bad for me...and that just hurt!

On Garrido, I'm not sure you can acquire character and steel like you can improve your tactical awareness and technique. From a full back I want 500 unspectacular displays, industry and reliability will do just fine.

Garridomis a young man and will learn from this , he is not a bad defender, but I think it would be a toss up between him and Ball. Ball has more experience and it shows, but in time Garrido will be far better than Ball. On Ricards I have read somewhere it is not a question of himn refusing to sign, but it is a question of who actually represents him!
