'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Friday Update

New Mexican loan signing, Nery Castillo, has been granted international clearance and is available for selection for the cup visit to West Ham tomorrow. How Sven will utilise the Mexican is open to debate but I see a substitute start with a guaranteed 20 minute run out either up front or wide on the right.

Those of you that were dreading the news that Danny Mills had returned to the club after an unsuccessful loan spell at Charlton will be equally relieved to hear that Paul Jewell has decided to take a punt on the ex England right back. Whether that reflects desperation on Derby`s part or just the lack of quality signings available in January we shall see. Needless to say we all wish Danny well as he plays his part in mission impossible.

Rumours surfaced today that Valeri Bojinov was being courted by Turkish outfit Galatasary. The rumours were once again evidence of the utter rubbish spouted in the media during transfer windows. To his credit Bojinov wasted no time in rubbishing the rumours by telling all that would listen that he is happy at City and has no intention of moving anywhere. Given that has only played about 10 minutes of football for City to date I guess we can all laugh a little at such gutter journalism.

Andreas Isaksson has been told he can leave the club by Sven Goran Eriksson. After making it clear that his new number one is Joe Hart Sven has revealed that he won`t stand in the Swede`s way if he wishes to leave.

Good on you, Boj. Assassin Mills well equipped to help Derby. As for Isaksson. Looked suspect every time out, and my goodness me, Hart looks the part. Then there's Sam Harris Brum bound?

any idea where Isakson will end up? I've always rated him!

Blue is the c, assuming you are CFC, what's the story over Avram Grant's coaching licence status? That was the big news when Jose packed his bags but haven't heard much since. Any visiting Chelskiysts know if he still is allowed to continue as gaffer?
