'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fans demand Castillo!!

73% of people polled on Vital MCFC are asking for an early sighting of new Mexican loan signing, Nery Castillo.

Perhaps worried by recent appearances suggesting Darius Vassell is the number one front man at the club, the supporters want a genuine goalscoring hero instead.

Not since the Goat and Anelka have we had someone capable of netting twenty or so goals a season.

Castillo is the next to be given the chance so let's have an early look Sven.

A Trevor Francis style debut awaits.

Now you're talking! A "TF" style start would be beyond a dream!! Ariba, El Diablo!
Johnny Baguette
Would be excellent to see what new dimension Nerys (lovely boyo) will add to City's game.
Bluemorg
Oh God, the Liver Birds, Bluemorg. It'll be Nerys Hughes if he does a Greek Tragedy and becomes Sam Harris! Still, he's known as El Diablo and from what I've seen ont' tinternet the nickname is fitting. Talking of Sam, Birmingham are alledgedly in for him. I've a feeling Mpenza could be off, too. He doesn't seem as up for it anymore and the old injuries are back.
Johnny Baguette
This is what El Diablo is capable of: Check out the Middle Eastern Stuart Hall! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=q0aRIlPMwpI

can't say I've heard of him? Does that make me a philistine?
merlin
JB, Thank you for the links, But there is a silly comment it make me laugh, The comment : he takes his shirt off after every goal. no wonder he could do well for Shaktar. Too cold ! :)))
city 81
As I watched the film I remembered an old player was playing for Manchester City In 1987, He was from Georgia , as I recall his name Jurjian & Bojinov it like to me like David White !
city 81
That'll do for me, merlin! The more fans that say they've never heard of Sven's young signings, the more that ensures our surprise package continuity. That said, a more reknowned signing is imminent. Meanwhile, city 81, please can you tell us where you are based?
Johnny Baguette
JB, Do you mean the comment? If this what you want it is from here : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=v-BTARlME38&feature=related ( Second comment )
city 81
Cheers, city 81, no, it's just I was wondering what country you are in/from. You gave us the impression you maybe on the continent?
Johnny Baguette
Johnny Baguette, 'll Tell you who I am, I am from Kuwait & Since 1981 I encourage Manchester City ( this is the first time connect with the City fans) , But becouse I does not speak English well was difficult to me save the names of the players, I do not recall in that time only the a goalkeeper and he name was Coti, Because his impressed level I encouraged club, I was Prefers him To be in the national team at both guard Peter Shelton and Tottenham goalkeeper (Flowers).
city 81
Nice one city 81! That's brilliant! The good City word continues to spread worldwide! That goalkeeper you refer to could well be Tony Coton. I had a lot of time for him once but sadly, he has been possessed by evil. He is now often found sat on a crowded bench of worshippers behind a certain Sir Ferguson!
Johnny Baguette
Tony Coton yesss, This was his name, I remember him famous incident maybe it was in 1985, When he was keeping the ball, then come player from behind him and stole the ball from his hands & scored the goal :) , But I am sad what I hear from you about him, I wish to him well .
city 81
Ah, now the keeper you are thinking of there with the ball out of his hands scenario was Andy Dibble. It was against Nottingham Forest and I wasn't impressed!
Johnny Baguette
It look to me it was the same person! , OK , In 1981 who was the goalkeeper? , in that season if you remember we lose from tottenham in the final cup ( 2-1 ).
city 81
The one and only Joe Corrigan!
Johnny Baguette
JB: Please refresh my memory on Trevor Francis - I have a vague recollection of being behind the goals at Stoke's old Victoria Ground?
Craig Cain
Trevor Francis grabbed a couple on his debut. 'Massive' City following that day .... behind the goal and down the side at the Victoria Ground. One of the great City forward debut's.
ronin
Maybe this guy I mean, I do not know!, My memory has become weak, But thank you JB for the information & your time .
city 81
Trevor Francis !! I think he play for sambdoria, Are he played for the City before?!!
city 81
we shared a moment in time and space!
Craig Cain
TF was brilliant but relentless injuries and nobody else being on the same wavelength took their toll...
Johnny Baguette
YesJB fantastic player: Just couldn't be sure if the Stoke game was his debut.
Craig Cain
CC it was against Stoke we won 3-1 Phil boyer got the other. City 81 your english is fine.
Buzz Lightyear
BL, I will try hard to make my English good & understandable , But you expect a lot of people come from all world when the manchster city be Global team & they speak english like city 81 or wrost , At that time best to you learn they Original language to try understand what they had Wrote :)
city 81
Sorry I mean : At that time easy to you learn they Original language better to you to try understand what they Wrote in english.
city 81
I understand you City 81. You have picked a team, which has the most loyal fans, who know what its like to have bad days and can recognise talent when they see it. I remember watching us play Arsenal and they beat us 5-1, but they played brilliantly and we appreciated that. I dont think that anyone left the ground before the end, unlike the Newcastle fans earlier in the week. I still think i am in a dream at the moment and am about to wake up and SP is still the manager. Nightmare!!!
