Wonderful effort, Thank you.

and about the new poll. where is option (Cup Win , League Draw) !! Anyway, even if there I vote to Win Win .
city 81
Merci, city 81! You win the prize for this weeks "Spot The Error Competition!"
Johnny Baguette
:) Thank you, JB, I will give you half from the prize.
city 81
a fair result i say and dunne is aclass player if only he could produce this more often then you'd be up the top more often
ozanne park rangers
We certainly miss Michael Johnson, although when he is playing you don't notice the contribution he makes to the team, when he is not playing thats when you notice something is missing. The lack of creating chances is a worry and I have noticed that when Bianchi is playing and scoring it is because of the service into the penalty box. I was watching a review of the goals and that was noticeable that all but one of RB's goals came from decent crosses. So please send us a wide right and ask Martin to cross more from the left and play Bianchi from the off.
Buzz Lightyear
I was trolling through the comments page of http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/manchester_city/ on the various subjects and coulnd't help thinking that what a load of tripe (City 81 tripe = rubbish) Why can't we be happy with what we have. I am sure that if we had started the season winning a few then losing a few and we were mid table, away from the relegation fight we would have been happy, but because we have so good we want more. It is not easy to bring in quality players in January without paying over the odds for them.
Buzz Lightyear
The latest reports suggest that SGE is looking at three players, one Zidic a striker from Valencia, but I don't think it is the striking department where we are short. Also talk of going for Paul Robinson, no doubt in his qualities, but is lacking in confidence, although his performance against us was excellent. I still think we could make the top 6.
Buzz Lightyear
Sound analysis, Buzz. I think there is another big factor against us if we sign a big name foreign striker in January. He will have no time to adjust to the pace of the game here and the fitness levels required, unlike most summer signings (outside of ours last year!) who at least have time to build up to the season. El Diablo has really been pitched in at the deep end, even having trained with the squad in December. Unless a new January signing can make an unprecedented immediate impact, we have to seriously look to Mpenza, Bianchi and Vassell raising their game and hope that Bojinov hits the ground barnstorming in late winter if we are to pull off the Euro dream in Sven's first season.
Johnny Baguette
I have just come across an interesting statistic reagarding Michael Johnson this season. In his fourteen appearences we have won 9 games, He has now missed 9 games through injury during which time we have won just 2. This is surely a sign of which position we need to strengthen this month.
alphieblues
A young Ali B Alphieb. It is not that the strikers arn't taking their chances it just that the midfield don't create any. JB spot on I just go back to the Goat with his it takes 10 games to gel and it was obvious that El Diablo is not upto speed with the rest. Corculka has done a fabulous job in midfield and the problem with recently Elano appears to moving too deep in stead of being more upfront, but this is again down to playing with different players in the midfield and getting used to what to expect from them. I hope he puts castillo on the bench and brings him on later rather than as a starter.
Buzz Lightyear
I've certainly been surprised at Castillo starting each game. I think he could use the bench experience to read the er, "English" game better. As for Johnno, he just cannot come back quick enough!!
Johnny Baguette
BL, Thank you for to your interest & I like to teach the meaning of (bench), please .
city 81
The Bench is what the substitue for a match sits on.
Buzz Lightyear
Do you mean a reserve seats?
city 81
I see that Sven is disappointed that tonights reserve match has been called of as Sturridge was due to make his first start of the season. With Bojinov almost fit again it will become very competitive for the strikers role over the next few weeks. That being the case we just need someone now to provide the service.
alphieblues
City 81 we have 5 substitue players for each game. In days gone past it was just a bench (large chair which could seat 5 with no back to it)
Buzz Lightyear
Alphieb. that is the problem, recently Petrov has crossed more into the box and we have scored more. It is when he comes inside that we fail to create. A wide right is an answer I don't think Kelvin Etuhu is right just yet, but if SGE uses him like they did with SWP in short burst as substitue coming off the bench say for the last 20 minutes, then he will make an impact like he did against Newcastle.
Buzz Lightyear
Again Alphieb I agree it is useful to have competetive games as 'in house' games tend not to have that competetive edge because of fear of injury or one of your mates allegedly beating the stuffing out of you.
Buzz Lightyear
I understand the meaning now, Thank you Mr Buzz Lightyear, Two days ago, alphieblues and I were talking about Drogba, and he mentioned this word in his speech, I understood the meaning as you referred to me now, When I answered him, He did not respond me !, I thought there wrong in my words, Special the meaning of (bench) .
city 81
Sorry city 81 I did not pick up on that one.
alphieblues
No Is not your fault Mr alphieblues, I must ask about the meaning before I respond, On the other hand, Mr JB if you want we win tomorrow, Must castllo set in the Bench and Does not start the game... Yes, Now I caught the right meaning. :)

Worrying reports knocking about that Dunney is unhappy with City's new contract offer.
Johnny Baguette
Just paper talk JB. A good performance tonight will enable them to take to to Sunday. We have not been to good against WHU in the cup, but both of us play openattractive football and I hope it does not go to penalties. I think it is a terrible way to win or lose a match, I wish they could think of another way of resolving these things.
Buzz Lightyear
JB, If this is true, I think it is the right to seek high pay, My opinion It is now the best defender in season.
city 81
Don't worry JB I see the talk about Dunny is from that muck spreading City hating excuse for a newspaper the Mirror. Have they ever got a report right about us ? You can sleep easy tonight.
alphieblues
Just twigged the rag Mirror's ready up. Couldn't ever imagine Dunney leaving City. He looked very much at home on MCFCTV.COM. You can never discount agent *****e stirring either.
Johnny Baguette
Via newsnow, The Daily Torygraph and Das Daily Mail are following the Mirror re Dunney. So many hacks have been desperate for City to run into problems this season. A win tonight, and a good win is essential.
Johnny Baguette
Really JB, Mirror not copied News about Podolski, They Copy only the bad news about the club!!.
city 81
They have a long history of hating City, city 81. I'm hoping the Podolski rumour comes good meantime, he has tremendous potential.
Johnny Baguette
The news began about Podolski to rise, But they carrying from the same source.
city 81
MCFC offical site are quick to deny the Dunney thing. No news about transfers is good news, It looks like the Geovanni story that he has signed for valencia is a bit premature.
